Songs Sung Blue

This is a piece that combines two of my loves: good science fiction, and Waylon Jennings. Well, I may have borrowed the title from a classic Waylon song, at least. You can find it in Silver Blade.

Peephole and Trial

These two poems have been around with me for a long time; "Trail" actually started out as a junior-level creative writing exercise. John Kilma of Electric Velocipede took them a while ago, and held onto them while the journal went through some rocky waters. Thankfully, Klima hung on, and you can find these two odd little diddies in Electric Velocipede #25.

Tillamook Tales

The latest Horace & Wilcox story appears in Verbicide Magazine.

Ghost Town

This horror story goes back a few years; I wrote the original version when I was in high school (if not before). A more polished, less crappy version appears in Dark Fire Fiction.

This short little allegorical oddity was originally rejected; then I received an email a few hours later saying the editor had changed his mind. So that's always good. Anyways, it's appeared in the perfect journal for it: Jersey Devil Press.

Pacing Room

This story, which was inspired by something that happened when I was 12 (the raccoon, not the meth), appears in Pithead Chapel Vol. 1 Issue 4.

Death of the Ladybugs

This story, inspired by something that happened each fall at my old apartment, appears in the Linden Avenue Literary Journal.
